Teaser

Wherein Rob fires up the podcast machine for another for another season, which begins with by explaining having too much time to sit around and work on such projects, and includes some nice car time with his loveliest talking about a song by a band best not mentioned in the show notes because he hasn’t secured permission to include such song or band (who might not care since the music was double MP3 compressed and cannot be taken seriously as anyone’s idea of a “keeper” so what the heck) and coincidentally features a mention of horses even as we passed a familiar appaloosa auto, then includes a tester recording using the iPhone earbuds microphone, and another tester with a new bluetooth headset where there’s actually some content (about Facebook and stuff), and then quits while he’s ahead?

[I’ll call it a teaser since this isn’t my normal format, mostly about just getting restarted with the publishing action 2 years later (to the day mind you)]

    YES I’ve missed you heaps! How totally great to get a new RRR - thanks for making it and putting it out there!
    I like the paraphrased version of the Bible verse - very real.
    I miss my car - I can hear it humming along in the background, kiss the dash for me, will ya? And get it detailed too while you’re at it, a car needs to be pampered once in a while (says me who’s current vehicle is grottier than…than…my son’s tennies after he’s worn them without socks for a week…full of sand, other debris, stinky, oh so nice).
    The U2 song was cool - usually I would say leave out the music on the podcasts - if I want music I will turn on my own music - but this was fun because of how you and your in-car guest were commenting and interpretating lyrics. Very interesting. I liked the interview with Mike the IT guy. I didn’t get what you were talking about - what is “Sumack (sp?)” when you thought someone was listening - huh? Maybe I am a bit slow today, didn’t understand. And nice talk with Jim - I know where Jim is coming from - I have come so close myself to doing what he did - I don’t really have time for FB. And I don’t respond to most of what people send me - even the emails - I have a hard enough time replying to my regular email, now I have another inbox to flake out on! But nice advice on how to minimize FB time - hopefully people don’t get put off when you don’t respond to their comments or invitations. Cause I am a FB slacker for sure. Overall very nice RRR - thanks Rob!
