Another First Day

The one where Rob reveals his new gig, and speaks to opening a new chapter doing something completely different than what has come before, and thanks his wonderful sister for all the support and encouragement, then discusses important choices in note paper, and last minute shopping, yielding a limited choice of materials, and then subsequently finding that in college I used wide ruled paper, and shares his hope that in 2016 there’s no need to keep paper written with a pen but instead expecting to take notes into the excellent Evernote, and then goes on to speak about Andrew Sullivan’s excellent essay My Distraction and recommends it for your edification, and cannot leave an episode go without mentioning podcast production and admits RRR hasn’t gone how he has expected but instead maybe the fancy editing isn’t required anymore with this show, and closes thinking about the last time he had a first day at a professional job.

[I cut this track on September 27 but then hit some technical difficulties… which are resolved… so here it is!]

Loved the podcast as always my brother. Thanks so much for the shoutout, really loved hearing that. I agree on the college ruled, I would have done the same. Ha ha can’t believe you used wide in college – so funny. I want to read that article you mentioned about distractions…what was it again? email it to me please. Keep publishing, you make my day.
